with Adell Bridges
Learn how to start your handstand journey strong, avoiding common mistakes, and focusing on what really matters from your days as a beginner until you’re calling yourself a master.
1 workshop •
1,000 laughs
We’re just going to have fun, really.
Get on our hands, kick our feet in the air, balance. But with intention, and some logic, and then we’ll make fun of ourselves and laugh about all the errors we made.
And then I’ll tell you the importance of making errors for learning, and probably go off on a geeky tangent about the cerebellum and basal ganglia.
Where: Kilmallie Community Centre PH33 7JH
When: Saturday, 21st November @10:00a.m.
What: 3-hour workshop with a break in the middle
who is adell bridges?
I’m a handstand coach who blends my love and education in neurology and psychology.
After doing my degree in psychology, I became a yoga teacher. But my interest in the brain never went away, and since 2020 I’ve been studying how to apply neurology to movement.
So when you learn handstand with me, you’re not just learning the same old drills that you can find on YouTube.
You’ll get nerve mobilisations, vestibular system drills, and teachings from the lens of neural plasticity (i.e. I’m very scientific with it all and it works.)
