Handstand retreat
12 - 18 December 2026
Spend 7 unforgettable days under the Moroccan sun, staying in a beautiful hotel that feels both luxurious and welcoming.
Between handstand sessions, you’ll enjoy traditional home-cooked Moroccan cuisine, unwind by the pool, explore the local surroundings, and connect with a community of like-minded handstand lovers.

The retreat will take place 12 - 18 December 2026 in
a serene and charming hotel
in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains.
Spaces are limited.
This will be a small and intimate group!
01
Intentional
Structure
Yes, we'll play.
But handstands don't come from just throwing yourself upside down and hoping for the best.
They come from training the dozens of mini-skills that make a handstand work.
That's why every session has a clear purpose. You'll learn targeted drills to accelerate your progress, and I'll send you the videos afterwards so you can keep practising long after the retreat is over.
02
Make new FRIENDSHIPS
The handstands are great, but for many people, the friendships are what stay with them long after the retreat ends.
When you spend a week training, eating, laughing, struggling, and celebrating progress together, connections happen naturally.
And let’s be honest…what kind of person chooses to spend a week in Morocco practising handstands?
The kind of person you’ll probably get along with very well.
03
Expert
Facilitation
I've been teaching handstands for over a decade and practising them for nearly my entire life.
Since 2020, I've also been studying applied neurology, which has transformed how I approach teaching and helping people learn new skills.
And honestly, one of my favourite things in the world is seeing someone suddenly find a straighter line, a more controlled bail-out, or a handstand they didn't think they could hold. Those moments happen a lot during retreat weeks, and they're a big part of why I keep coming back to do this year after year.

I know how frustrating a handstand journey can be, when you feel like you’ve been working on your handstands for ages with little or no progress.
And yes, it is often a matter of time and practice. But sometimes, it is also about understanding your body, your brain, and finding the right techniques that work FOR YOU.
I’ve been teaching handstands all over the world, from total beginners to people learning one-arm handstands, for nearly a decade. And I’ve been an avid handstand student for even longer!
This experience has equipped me with hundreds of tools for finding more balance, strength, playfulness and longer holds. As part of this retreat, I will be sharing with you all my tools you need to progress on YOUR OWN handstand journey, no matter where you are now.
My intention is for this week to take your handstands to the next level, but for you ALSO to walk away with tools you can use for months (or years!) to come.
All you need is the willingness to learn and a curiosity for what lies beyond your comfort zone!
Adell.

Morocco is one of my favorite countries and that's because it's full of friendly locals, incredible food, stunning decor, and spectacular landscapes. A retreat like this is such a great way to explore Morocco for the first time as you'll be collected from the airport and driven back, and you can opt to stay with the group for any activities outside of the hotel. The area that this retreat is in is very safe, just 15 miles away from the bustling Marrakech. After experiencing the vibrant colors and smells of Marrakesh, you will get to retreat back to the enchanting simplicity and serenity of the hotel.

I would recommend it without a doubt! I have taken a lot from the sessions to carry into my own practice and teachings.
I loved the workshops! I felt challenged but they were broken down in such an accessible way.
Enough downtime with ample time to practice. I absolutely love that we have workshops for the groups and also smaller group workshops to get more tailored feedback. This was such a great touch to feel the added value to the time.
The retreat was beautiful and organised wonderfully.
To see all levels of handstanding — complete novices to teachers — all getting so much from the practice is a testament to how well thought-out the program was.
There are no negatives for me, everything was what I expected, and great value for money and time, and I met some incredible people too!
There were some amazing inclusions too which made it even better from the dinner out, to the cooking class, the Hammam and the live music.
